It's been an explosive week with bombs in Times Square and bombs in Popplesdorf, not to mention a few explosive vomits and poops courtesy of Sabine.
Yesterday just a few blocks from our house an old 500 kilogram WWII bomb was found when an empty lot was excavated. The fire department evacuated about 4,000 people and shut down the highway coming into Bonn while they removed the bomb.
Unfortunately, I missed all the excitement because I was downtown running errands and getting a coffee with a friend.
